I created this piece as semi abstract still life with strong pattern and colour, depicting dynasty ming vases and jars in the traditional blue and white colour palettes with lots of space and balance around the items to create natural space in the composition. The lilies against the yellow background are intended to bring joy and elegance to the painting.
